This challenge was to create a naturalistic pool that felt like a small pond.  An irregular edge, natural rock coping, and a black bottom were all key elements used in its creation.  The copper saucer water fall was added for sound and as a focal point from within the house.  Two different rock terraces were connected by curvilinear seat steps punctuated by columns supporting flower planters.  The surrounding landscape included open lawns, colorful flower borders, and ornamental trees and shrubs.
